Seedy Cranberry-quinoa Energy & protein Bars

  • 1 scoops ground almonds, 1 cup
  • 0.2 litre water, mineral
  • 1 scoops Mixed seeds, 1 cup
  • 100 g dried cranberries
  • 4 scoops Whey protein powder
  • 100 g dried apricots
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons Smooth peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 3 bananas
  • 1 apple, Gala, Peeled and grated
  • 200 g organic rolled oats

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Pre-heat oven to 150°C
  1. Ground the almonds: 5s, sp 7.
    Add the mixed seeds and toast 15 minutes, varoma temp, sp Gentle stir setting.
    Set aside.
  2. Add the apricots, and cranberries and blend 10s, sp 7
    Add the protein powder.
    Add the toasted seed and almond mix and stir 20s Counter-clockwise operation sp 7.
  3. Scrape mixture onto square baking tray lined with grease-proof paper and mould into the dish and flatten out smoothly into all corners.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes.
