TM 5Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
Place all ingredients in TM Bowl, Mix for 5 secs / Speed 2
Set aside for 15 mins to allow seeds to absorb the water.
Line baking tray with baking paper, Bake for 1 hour at 170C
Leave cracker to cool down in the oven. Remove and break into bite size.
By leaving it in the oven to cool down it dries out the cracker more making it crunchy. I usually like to bake this at night and let it rest in the oven overnight.
Try with other ingredients such as:
Chia seeds or dried fruit.
If using Dried fruit.
Chia Seed bulk up the ingredient quatity, takes longer to dry out/cook, but end result is worth it. You get more crackers in a batch.
Place fruit and chop before adding the rest of the ingredients.
Can be made in TM31, TM21
