      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Simple Seed Mixture
  1. 1. Place garlic and rosemary into mixing bowl. Chop 3 sec / speed 7.

    2. Add seeds (except sesame). Mill 10 sec / speed 10.

    3. Add water. Mix 10 sec / speed 5.

    4. Measure baking paper to fit oven tray, then place sheet of baking paper on a flat bench space. Place mixture onto baking paper.

    5. Place another sheet of baking paper on top of mixture and roll out mixture flat (approx. 3mm), between the two sheets.

    6. Season with salt and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Press sesame seeds firmly to set in mixture. Score flattened mixture into preferred shape.

    7. Place in cold oven. Bake at 170 for 30 min. Cool on wire tray when finished baking. Store in an airtight container.

Love it! Works with pumpkin seeds or almonds too instead of sunflower seeds! I do add extra garlic and other herbs and this time nutritional yeast which worked well. Thank you!

  • So simple and tasty. Perfect

So simple and tasty. Perfect texture for Dips (especially Thai variation of Basic Cookbook Hummus) or with any kind of cheese.

Friends who eat Gluten marvelled at how good these were. They're definitely not just for those who have to be Gluten Free, "normal" people love them too.

Terrific thanks! I won't add the salt on top next time as I think they are flavoursome enough.

  • Really delicious cracker. I

    Submitted by Dany1959 on 24. April 2016 - 15:58.

Really delicious cracker. I rolled them to between 1mm and 2mm thick as I wanted a cracker I could use for cheese or dips. However, it is probably too tasty! I am going to use this recipe as my base and experiment with different, more bland / less tasty, additives until I find the perfect cheese cracker.

  • Just made these! They are so

    Submitted by Nahhleee on 14. March 2016 - 14:14.

Just made these! They are so great. I shifted around the measurements between the seeds (I only had 40g of sunflower seeds so used pumpkin seeds and extra flax/chia seeds to mame up the difference and they still turned out great. awesome recipe tmrc_emoticons.)
