      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

I made this in my TM35 and found the volume just too much.
Next time I would do it in 2 batches.
The recipe itself is yum, easy and easy.
    Will definitely make again.

I made this in a tm31 and the final mix with all the flour just didn't work. I poured it all into a bowl and mixed by hand. Turned out perfect. Made 2 trays of cookies and froze the rest for when needed next!

  • I was concerned that the TM5

    Submitted by Campcorkett on 20. March 2015 - 14:30.

I was concerned that the TM5 would struggle with this capacity of flour, So I creamed the butter and sugar as per the recipe. Then I added the condensed milk and mixed for 30 seconds. I then added half the flour and mixed for 30 seconds. I weighed in the final 400g flour, tipped the lot into a big mixing bowl and mixed by hand. I added a packet of Choc chips, and about halfway through making the biscuits I added sprinkles. The kids are going to love these for school. I will put them into ziplock bags (two each) and freeze.
