  • 225 g sugar

  • 200 g Milk

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Grease and line cake pan.
  3. Add butter to mixing bowl. Melt 2 minutes, 50°C, speed 4 with measuring cup in mixing bowl lid. Scrape down sides.
  4. Melt again 30 seconds, 50°C, speed 4 with measuring cup in mixing bowl lid or until fully melted.
  5. Add flour, baking powder, sugar, cocoa, milk, vanilla extract and eggs.
  6. Mix 20 seconds, speed 4, Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" . Scrape down sides.
  7. Mix again, 20 seconds, speed 4, Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" .
  8. Tip mixture into prepared pan.
  9. Return mixing bowl to base, with measuring cup in mixing bowl lid. Flick remaining mixture off blades, 2 seconds, speed 7. Add to cake mixture in pan.
  10. Bake for 45 - 60 minutes, until cake springs back when touched and skewer comes out clean.
  11. Cool in tin for 5 minutes. Run silicone spatula around edge of cake and release from tin. Rest on cooling rack until completely cool.
  12. Ice with chocolate icing (or dust with icing sugar) once cooled completely.

Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
