- 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1 tbsp Boiling water
- 125 grams plain flour
- 160 grams sugar
- 100 grams rolled oats
- 90 grams dessicated coconut
- 50 grams Chopped almonds

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- if your almonds are not chopped, chop them first and set aside. No need to wash bowl.
Add butter and syrup and melt 3m 30s, 80, #2
Mix the bicarbonate with the boiling water and add immediately to the bowl and mix 10s, #4 "Counter-clockwise operation"
Add all other ingredients and combine 30s #3"Counter-clockwise operation"
Use a tablespoon to scoop mix onto tray, roll if you wish and flatten slightly.
Bake for 20 mins at 160 degrees. If you want a crunchier cookie bake a few mins longer. Watch they don't burn.
