Apple & Pear Crumble

Ingredients

  • 130 g plain flour
  • 50 g oatmeal (fine or rolled)
  • 80 g block butter
  • 150 g sugar

Filling

  • 400 g apples and pears, peeled and sliced

Recipe's preparation

    Crumble
  1. 1.  Preheat the oven to 180oC.

  2. 2.  Place flour, oatmeal then butter into mixing bowl and mix into breadcrumbs for 10 sec/speed 5.

  3. 3.  Add half the sugar into mixing bowl and stir through for 5 sec/speed 1.

  4. 4.  Arrange half the prepared fruit into the bottom of an oven proof dish.

  5. 5.  Sprinkle the remaining sugar over the fruit.

  6. 6.  Arrange the other half of the fruit on top of the sugar layer.

  7. 7.  Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the fruit, and shake it down to a level surface.

  8. 8.  Dust with cinnamon to taste.

  9. 9.  Bake in over for 30 - 40 mins until fruit is soft.  


    Serve hot or cold.

    This recipe was easy and really tasty . I didnt use as much sugar and it was still delicious. I didnt have oatmeal but used oat bran and it was still great Smile thank you for this recipe
