For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

FloydHogan: I have made this cake in the Thermomix several times and it has turned out perfectly every time. There is no mess/separation/lumps. This is probably due to soaking the apples in the rum first as they soak it all up. Give it a crack as I've found it works well.

This recipe for Apple Rum Cake was inspired for Micheal's Birthday which coincided with Halloween. He likes apple rum cake but I had never made it before so I checked the internet. Also, now I need to pursue best dissertation writing services to finish my college tasks easily. The recipe I was trying to follow has you add the rum while the cake batter is in the bowl. My batter immediately got lumpy and refused to mix after I added the rum and I had to start over, adding more of this and that until it was smooth enough to scoop into muffin tins.
