What a disaster!  I found the mixture to thick to spread and also added some milk. Couldn't spread the second layer on top of Apple so swirled it through. Hopefully it will taste better than it looks  tmrc_emoticons.). I think some more detailed instructions would have been better for us newbies.

    Submitted by Jas77 on 11. May 2015 - 20:53.

Absolutely delicious!  My mum wants me to make double next time.  PS. The consistency was not runny enough to pour, however i managed to cover the base and apple mix.  PSS. Perhaps provide instructions on how to make the apple filling.  Thanks for sharing.

I don't know what I did wrong but the mixture was VERY thick and near impossible to spread over the apple. This was a disaster for me.  tmrc_emoticons.(

A big hit in my household and so quick and easy! I was nervous at first that the batter wouldn't spread enough for the top layer but it was perfect when it came out of the oven. I put cinnamon sugar on top after cooking and it was delicious!!
