Ingredients

Banana cake

  • 300g raw sugar
  • 125g soft butter
  • 250g ripe bananas
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 225g SR flour
  • 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 120g Milk
  • 2tsp mixed spices
  • 1 tsp Cinammon, Optional
  • 1/2 cup Chopped walnuts, Optional

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre heat oven 170 deg
    line 22cm cake tin
    put sugar in bowl - 3sec - speed 7
    add butter/banana/vanilla/eggs - 1min - speed 6
    add milk & turbo once
    add flour/Bicarb/spices/walnuts - 2sec - speed 4
    pour mixture into lined tin
    cook for 60min

    cream cheese icing: 90g cream cheese,45g soft butter,210g icing sugar,tbls lemon juice
