Banana Mookies

Mookies

  • 3 --- Ripe banana, (around 300g)
  • 200 g Wholemeal Self Raising Flour
  • 150 g brown sugar
  • 100 g rolled oats
  • 1 tsp Bi-Carb Soda (Baking Soda)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 100-150 g Sultana's or Sweet William Choc Chips (Dairy, Nut, Egg and Gluten Free)
  • (Optional) Cinnamon Sugar (for dusting)
  • (Optional) orange juice

Recipe's preparation

    Mookies
  1. Pre heat oven to 180 degrees celcius.

  2. Place banana's in mixing bowl. Mix 5 seconds speed 4. Scrape down sides with spatula.

     

  3. Add remaining ingredients except sultanas/choc chips and cinnamon sugar. Mix 1 minute speed 4. Scrape down sides with spatula. If mixture seems too dry, add a bit of orange juice to moisten the mixture. Mix a further 30 seconds speed 4.

     

  4. Add sultanas or choc chips. Mix for 1 minute speed 2 Counter-clockwise operation

     

  5. Spoon mixture onto a lined baking tray, making sure to leave space between each to allow for rising.

     

  6. (Optional) Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar

     

  7. Place trays into oven a bake for 12-14 minutes, or until a nice golden colour.

     

  8. Remove from oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before eating.
