      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 185 degrees celsius.

    Grease 25cm round cake tin/ line with baking paper and set aside. (I use a greased silicone kugelhopf/bundt pan)

    Place carrots into bowl and chop for 5-7 seconds on speed 5. Set aside in a small bowl.

    Place eggs, sugar and oil in bowl and mix for 5 seconds on speed 5.

    Add vanilla, spice, salt, gf flour and bicarb to bowl and mix for 10 seconds on speed 5.

    Add the grated carrots and mix on REVERSE for 15-20 seconds on speed 2.

    Pour into cake tin and bake for 75 minutes.
