Bliss balls - a healthy snack

Ingredients

  • 260 g Cashews
  • 200 g sultanas
  • 80 g Dates (pitted)
  • coconut (shredded), for rolling

Recipe's preparation

  1. Put cashews into mixing bowl and chop 8 seconds, speed 7. Remove and set aside.

     

  2. Put sultanas and dates into mixing bowl and chop for 20 seconds, speed 8.

  3. Add cashews to the sultana and date mixture in the mixing bowl, and mix for 10 seconds, speed 8.

     

  4. Using a round teaspoon measure, scoop the mixture and form into balls, then roll in coconut.

  5. Store in an airtight container.

Tip

Be careful not to not chop the nuts for too long, otherwise they will start to form a paste.

 

Cashews can be replaced with other types of nuts, such as macadamias.

 

Adding some cocoa powder to the mixture in step 3 will create a chocolately variation.
