For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Preheat oven to 180°C
- Place butter, sugar and egg into the mixing bowl. "Closed lid"
Mix 2 min/speed 3 - Add SR flour, cocoa powder to mixing bowl. "Closed lid"
Mix 40 sec/speed 4 - Add choc chips and stir 30 sec/ "Counter-clockwise operation" reverse speed 2
- Make approximately 24 walnut sized balls and place 5 cm apart onto prepared baking trays. Flatten lightly with fork, cookies will flatten more as they bake. Bake 15 min, 180°C.
Allow to cool on a wire rack before storing.
