Dough

  • 220 grams Choclate, Cooking
  • 100 grams sugar, Brown
  • 50 grams Butter, Tested with Nuttalex
  • 2 Eggs.
  • 2 level teaspoons Vanilla ess
  • 1 can butter bean, canned
  • 300 grams flour, Self-raising
  • 40 grams oats, Traditional
  • 15 grams cocoa

Recipe's preparation

    Mixing the dough
  1. Chop chocolate 4 secs/ speed 5

    Set aside for later, no need to clean bowl

    Puree butter beans, set aside for later, no need to clean the bowl

    add sugar and butter. 5 secs/speed 8

    add butterfly 2 mins/ speed 3 (scrape after 1 minute)

    add eggs 5 secs/ speed 3

    remove butterfly

    add butter beans and dry ingredients and mix Gentle stir settingCounter-clockwise operation until dough forms

    (to avoid over mixing I placed all ingredients in a bowl and mixed by hand)

  2. baking
  3. drop Tb dough onto tray, press gently with a fork.

    bake 11-13 mins. Don't over bake.

Tip

instead of baking chocolate add 2 cups choc chips (dairy free if needed)

can omit cocoa and bake til golden brown.

can use chickpeas instead of butter beans.

If you have any fussy customers blitz the oats to make them finer.
