Crunchy Muesli

  • 70 g canola oil
  • 90 g Maple syrup
  • 90 g honey
  • 270 g rolled oats
  • 50 g unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 50 g blanched almonds , halved
  • 30 g sesame seeds
  • 30 g sunflower seeds
  • 100 g raisins

Recipe's preparation

  1. Combine Oil, Maple and Honey in the thermomix, and heat to 90 degrees on Speed 2 for 2 mins

     

  2. Add remaining ingredients except raisins and stir on reverse Counter-clockwise operation on Speed 3 until well combined, 40 seconds.

     

  3. Line a baking tray with baking paper and spread ingredients evenly on the tray. 

     

  4. Bake in a 180 degree oven for 15 mins, ensuring that you mix the granola every 5 mins.

     

  5. After 15 mins baking, remove from oven and immediately transfer Crunchy Museli to a cool surface to stop the cooking process.  

     

  6. Store in a airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

    Thanks this was delicious. I used a bit less honey and no maple syrup because I didn't want it as sweet and it turned out delicious. Also added dried apricots. I assume you're supposed to add the dried fruit in after it's baked? I don't see that on the recipe.

    Oh my... this is just divine!

    I didn't use as much honey or maple as I didn't want it too sweet. I also used sunflower seed/pepita mix with a few chopped pecans instead of the raisins.

    I'm enjoying it on natural yoghurt as I type and it's delicious!!!

    I love this recipie, thanks for sharing.  Makes beautiful, crunchy, healthy granola. See my clone where I prefer to use chia seeds and cashews instead of raisins.
