Daboose's Cashew, Almond and Date Protein Balls

  • 130 g raw unsalted cashews
  • 200 g raw whole almonds
  • 60 g Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 16 pitted dates
  • 2 tablespoon Cacao
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Bean Paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 100 g Unrefined coconut oil (melted)

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add almonds, cashews, protein powder, cinnamon and cocoa to TM bowl and process 4 seconds speed 8. Scrape down if needed

    Add dates and vanilla extract and process 10 seconds speed 8. Scrape down if needed

    Add oil while processing, 30 seconds speed 5 until mixture comes together and looks sticky. Stop half way and scrape down if mixture doesnt appear to be turning over.

    Roll into 3 cm diameter balls and refridgerate for an hour. 

    Store in fridge.
