Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
1. add about 100 grams of the choc bits in to the bowl and turn on speed 10 for about 30 seconds. Really get the choc grated up as much as possible so there are no large chunks.
2. set aside the grated choc for later.
1. add 50 grams of the grated choc that was set aside.
2. add all other ingredients except for the choc bits
3. turn to dough setting and mix for 2 minutes
4. add choc bits and stir through manually.
5. try desperately to not eat too much cookie dough at this point
1. spoon out mixture on to baking paper (I use a bread board underneath at this stage) in to balls a little smaller than a golf ball or to the size you desire. Sprinkle some grated choc over the top for extra taste. I use several bread boards and you can fit 6-8 depending on the size of your baking tray.
2. leave in refrigerator for about an hour and preheat over to 180°C
3. slide cookie dough, baking paper and all, onto you baking tray and cook for 12 minutes.
4. remove tray, slide off baking paper and reload next batch. unload cookies on to cooling tray to allow to cool.
5. resist the urge to eat too quickly as they will burn your mouth, give them 10 minutes and then enjoy.

Tip
I use the bread board trick to support the baking paper and cookies, really helps to store in fridge and transfer easily.

Add a commenti used 2 spoons to make
i used 2 spoons to make balls, put them on trays (or cutting boards) and put them in the fridge. the fridge is the most important. i took a heap to work and boy they were gone in a flash, everyone said they were the best cookies they have ever had and wanted more lol
when i say balls they are a pretty rough looking ball, you need to follow the recipe to the T and the mixture should be pretty thick and gooey.
Thanks for the recipe, these
Thanks for the recipe, these were nice. I did find mine didn't really form balls, so im not sure wherei went wrong there but they still turned out well.
