Made these with my 10 year old today. Huge hit! Delicious and a great texture. Bit confused about how much choc chip to use as they're shown 3 times in the recipe so we only used the first 2.

I don’t usually leave reviews but these were the BEST! My 13yo son who hates anything I bake even said “these are 10/10, just like cafe muffins”.
I also reduced the sugar to 100g and added 370g choc chips.

These seriously are the lightest, fluffiest choc chip muffins I’ve ever made. I used only 130g of sugar, and 150g each of white and milk choc melts, and they are perfect. This is my new go to recipe.

Easy recipe, thank you! I made them dairy free by replacing butter with coconut oil and used almond milk. I swapped the brown sugar with 70g of coconut sugar and only added 80g dark choc chips, which meant the muffins lacked sweetness but had a nice texture.

Just made a batch of these and they are "ok".
A little bland and dry..... Not sure if it's because I substituted Brown sugar for normal sugar and reduced the amount and didn't have enough choc chips so just used what I had...
Will probably taste nicer heated up with a cup of tea.
    A bit disappointed.

    Great for lunch boxes!

I used rapadura and reduced it to 100g and only used 150g white buttons and 150g milk buttons. Plenty sweet enough and great to freeze for lunches. I made 12 large muffins and 8 mini muffins (cooked 8 mins).

    Submitted by vanny on 13. August 2014 - 13:40.

This recipe was terrible (for anyone trying to lose weight)!!!!! I was on my weight loss journey and lost 2.8 kg last week, but decided to make these for the kids for when they get home from school tonight. They were super easy and the smell emanating from the oven was divine. I pulled them out an inserted a skewer- they were perfectly baked.

As I left them to cool, I turned my attention to washing up the thermomix and subconsciously licked my finger after some chocolate flicked on to it. OMG- delicious.

Surely one couldn't hurt. Could it? These were perfect! Moist, chocolatey, light.... I am going to have to lock these away somewhere or I will eat the lot before 3.30. Oh- and it does make exactly 24....

Thanks so much for a cheap and easy recipe that is also yummy. None of these will go to waste!
