If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Preheat oven to 200C.
Grease and line a biscuit tray. - Place sugar and orange zest into bowl.
- Mill speed 10/10 secs/MC on.
- Add butter to bowl. Mix speed 6/6 secs/MC on.
- Add figs to bowl. Chop speed 6/8 secs/MC on.
- Scrape down sides and repeat chopping until desired consistency.
- Add self-raising and plain flour to bowl.
- Mix speed 5/15 secs/MC on.
- Scrape down sides of bowl. Repeat mixing step until dough mixed together.
- Use small cookie dough scoop to or spoon to divide into evenly sized balls on prepared cookie tray. Flatten slightly.
- Bake in 200C oven till golden, approximately 10 mins.
- Store in an airtight container and enjoy!
