If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
1. Preheat oven to 180̊ C. Line a swiss roll baking tray with baking paper and set aside.
2. Place butter, sugar and honey or golden syrup into mixing bowl and heat 4min/60deg/speed 2. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
3. Add baking soda and vanilla and mix 5sec/speed 3.
4. Add rolled oats and flour and mix 10sec/"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 4.
5. Spread into tray and smooth. Bake for 15 - 20 mins (180̊ C) until golden brown. Remove from oven cut into 24 pieces and then leave in tray to cool completely.

Tip
Variations:
This flapjack can also be made using coconut oil instead of butter to make it dairy free.
For chocolate flapjack replace 1 tablespoon of the flour with a tablespoon of cocoa.
For fruity flapjack add 60g raisins, sultanas or cranberries in step 4.

The flavour is good but they are a little dry and crumbly, next time I would add less flour and maybe double the golden syrup
