Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Perfect..!I often use just sultanas too. And it’s a good idea to mix any extra fruit through manually. That way it doesn’t squish the fruit too much. 👍

Very nice slice, I used just sultanas instead of mixed fruit. I needed to mix it longer than indicated but still needed to mix it manually to incorporate the ingredients together.

This slice is so quick and easy to make. Crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I used Gluten Free Flour (I just used the Aldi Brand) and the mixed fruit from the packet. They were absolutely perfect - I thought a tad on the sweet side but my visitors said they were perfect as is. Will be a regular slice to make in this household!

Absolutely delicious slice. So easy to make and works very well with gluten free flour. I added dates, dried apricots, cranberries and currants and I love the addition of mixed spice as it gives a hint of Christmas in every bite!!
