      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre-heat oven to 150 degrees celcius.
  2. Place cornflakes in a large bowl - set aside.
  3. Blitz sugar 6 seconds, speed 10.
  4. Add honey and butter mix 5 minutes, varoma, speed 2.
  5. Pour melted mixture into cornflakes, combine well until all cornflakes are coated.
  6. Fill patty pans with mixture. (Makes 12 large honey joys)
  7. Bake 10 mins 150 degrees celcius.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.


Once cooled, store in an airtight container.

Recipe can be doubled (24 Large)
- Sugar 140 grams, Honey 40 grams,
Butter 180 gramsCornflakes 8 cups

Recipe can be tripled (36 Large)
- Sugar 210 grams, Honey 60 grams,
Butter 270 grams, Cornflakes 12 cups

Easy item for children's birthday party or a bake sale.

I think they freeze OK was quite surprised when my Mum tried this.
