Ingredients

  • 200 g plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 50 g Cocoa (recommend Green & Blacks)
  • 275 g sugar
  • 175 g soft unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp real Vanilla extract
  • 80 g sour cream
  • 0.125 litre Boiling water
  • 175 g dark chocolate chips (lotus organic do good ones)

Recipe's preparation

    Cake
  1. Pre-heat oven to 180c and grease a baking tin.  

    Add sugar and grind for 3 seconds on speed 9.

    Add all other ingredients, except chocolate chips, to TM31.

    Mix for 5 seconds on speed 5.

    Add butterfly, mix for 10 seconds, speed 3.

    Add chocolate chips.  Mix for 10 seconds, speed 1.

    Empty batter into prepared tin.  Bake in oven for 45 minutes, or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.

    we have investigated and it looks like it should be 80 ml of sour cream.

    What does 0.80 litre sour cream mean?  800 grams, 800 mls?  If it is oneof those it sounds like alot of sour cream.
