Tip
This is a family favourite Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe, converted to turn out perfectly in the Thermomix. It took a few tweaks to get it just right, I'm starting to learn that cake/cookie mixture needs to be handled in a certain way in the Thermomix to get the same results as with a mix master. These cookies are delicious with a soft and chewy center and crisp outside. Usually we make them with dark chocolate chips, but these ones are made using Reese's Pieces that Ty and Sam brought back for us from the USA. We have a HUGE bag of them and I don't really like them for eating on their own, but they are yum to cook with!

Can the cookie dough be out in the fridge for a couple days or frozen. I made a double batch and it will be way too much. Thinking I will cook some now and some in a few days if it stays ok in fridge?

These are the best ever. Recently my husband was diagnosed with coeliac disease and thought his favourite biscuits were gone forever. But I made these exactly to the recipe using Orgran gluten free flour and they were just as wonderful.

These are delicious! I made them to the exact recipe. I don't know why everyone wants to reduce the sugar, they are meant to be sweet! My old convection oven I had set on 200degrees and 10mins was perfect. Will definitely be making again.

Great simple recipe enjoyed tonight. I made a few slight changes after reading all the comments.
My changes:
Instead of the sugars, I used 110grams of coconut sugar (creamed with the butter and 1.5 teaspoons of vanilla for 2mins)
150grams plain flour, 110 grams spelt flour, 3 teaspoons baking powder and kneaded for 45 seconds
200 grams chocolate chips on reverse speed 2 for 30 seconds
I glad wrapped the dough into a log and refrigerated the log for an hour.
The refrigerated dough sliced perfectly, no shaping required and cooked at 160 degrees for 12mins.
Thanks for such a great recipe.

These cookies were so delicious. Thanks for sharing the recipe. As per other comments i cut down the sugar to 60gms of white sugar and 60gms of brown, 1/4 tspn salt and 1.5 tspns vanilla. I might try only 50gms of each sugar next time as they were still quite sweet for us. Didn't stop us eating them all though, yummyyy😉🤣

These were SO good! I made a few changes to suit what I was wanting and they were perfect.
I substituted 110gm of the SR for oat flour (just blitzed up oats in the Thermomix prior to making). I used 1.5tsp vanilla. I reduced both sugars to 55gm each - as there are quite a lot of choc chips in the recipe it really doesn’t need the sugar! I rolled the dough into a log and put in the freezer for about 15 mins then sliced into one cm discs and baked! Yum! Thanks for the recipe

These are delicious!! And so easy to make!! Reduced the sugars to 70g each and mixed in the choc chips on reverse as suggested. Amazing! So chuffed to be able to make something so quickly that the kids can have as a treat rather than store bought. Will definitely be making these again!

"Dough mode" for 45 secs.
"Counter-clockwise operation" /sp 2
Absolutely delicious!
1) I reduced the sugars to 70g each (next time will try with 60g each as still sweet).
2) creamed the cold butter for 20secs on sp 5 before adding the sugar.
3) stopped the TMX half way through creaming the sugar/butter mix to scrap down bowl to ensure no sugar granules.
4) After adding the flour and salt (reduced to 1/4 tspn) I used dough function
5) Mixed in the chocolate/fruit for 30secs/reverse
6) Rolled the dough into 5cm log shape and refrigerated for 1/2 hour before cutting into 1cm thick slices but think it needed 1 hour or to be frozen before cutting as I had to reshape each slice.
7) I baked mine at 160°c fan forced for 12 mins and the found that they did spread to a nice size.
Love the fact that this dough mix is versatile and works with different choc/fruit mix combos. Looking forward to trying this with Gluten free flour for my husband's work group.

Love these cookies, I used 65g each of the brown and caster sugar and used 50/50 SR wholemeal flour and plain flour so the biscuits didn't rise as much. I also added 75g hemp seeds for a bit of healthy!
