      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.       If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Pumpkin Spice Loaf
  1. Line a 25cm x 15 cm loaf tin and turn on the oven to 150 (fan forced or 170 no fan)
  2. Weigh in bowl chopped pumpkin pieces (3 cm) and chop 5 seconds speed 6
  3. Add into the bowl, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla paste, 45 grams of macadamia oil, 50 grams maple syrup or honey, 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate soda and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger
  4. Add the lid and measuring cup. Mix 20 seconds speed 4
  5. Scrape down the bowl. Add 150 grams of arrowroot flour and 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda, add 100 grams of sultanas.
  6. Mix Counter-clockwise operation 10 seconds speed 4. Scrape down bowl with spatula and mix again.
  7. Pour batter into prepared loaf tin. Sprinkle with slivered almonds walnuts or seed of choice. Bake for 60 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before taking the loaf out of the loaf pan.

Tip

Switch arrowroot for almond meal or a gluten free flour. Serve with a cream of choice and a drizzle of maple syrup or honey
