Raw Choc Mint Tarts

Ingredients

Base

  • 150g hazelnuts
  • 150g medjool dates pitted
  • 30g Shredded coconut
  • 50g coconut oil
  • 20g Cacaao Powder, optional

Filling

  • 30g chia seeds
  • 200g Avocado (ripe)
  • 100g Raw Honey
  • 3Tbs cacao powder
  • 5 drops pure peppermint oil

Recipe's preparation

    Base
  1. Add all ingreddients to mixing bowl and chop sp9/20sec


     


  2. Press mixture tightly into non stick muffins tray, pop in feezer 10 minutes

  3. Filling
  4. Add chia seeds to bowl, mill sp10/10 seconds


  5. Add remaining ingredients, blend 10 seconds/ sp6


     

  6. Scrape down sides of bowl and repeat if not blended well

  7. Add butterfly to bowl and mix for 30secs/sp3-4 to aerate

  8. Spoon mixture into bases and refridgerate for half an hour before serving.

Tip

Add cacoa powder to base mixture for a chocolatey base.

I use Power brand Cacao powder, the Equadorian Gold as it is not as bitter and has a fuller chocolate flavour.
