Refined Sugar Free Cinnamon Tea Cake

Cake Ingredients

  • 120 g Butter, room temperature
  • 1.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 170 g Pure Maple Syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 300 g Self Raising Flour
  • 160 g Milk

Glaze Ingredients

  • 40 g Butter
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 30 g Pure Maple Syrup

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Grease a deep 20cm round cake pan and line base with baking paper.

  2. Insert butterfly. Place butter, vanilla, maple syrup and eggs into bowl and beat for 20 seconds on speed 4

  3. Add flour and milk and mix for 20 seconds speed 4

  4. Sread mixture into pan and bake for 40 minutesor until skewer comes out clean

  5. Meanwhile, clean and dry bowl. Add cinnamon, maple syrup and butter and cook for 2 minutes at 50 degrees speed 3or until all melted and combined

  6. When cake is cooked turn out and rest for 5 minutes

  7. Pour or brush cinnamon maple glaze over cake and serve
