  • 25g glucose syrup

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Grease and line 20cm square tin
    2. Place butter, topnfill caramel/or condensed milk, golden syrup, glucose syrup, and brown sugar in Closed lid cook 30m/100d/sp3, simmer basket on top ofClosed lid
    3. Test mixture after 30 m by dropping 1/2 tsp of mixture into cold water. It must form a soft flexible ball. If the mix doesnt form a ball cook for a further 2min. This step is required for the fudge to set.

    4. Add in chopped chocolate mix for 20s/sp4 MC on
    6. Pour into prepared tin and smooth the top
    7. Sprinkle with salt flakes
    8. Cool fudge in room temp 30min. Cover and refidgerate until firm. Cut into squares and serve. Store in the fridge.
