Ultimate Chocolate Blondie (Variation)

  • 150 g caster sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 110 g plain flour
  • 70 g SR flour

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 170C. Grease and line brownie or lamington tin.
  2. Place butter and chocolate into TM bowl. Grate 8 seconds, speed 6. Scrape down sides of TM bowl.
  3. Melt at 50C for approx. 4 minutes, speed 2. Scrape down sides of the TM bowl after about 2 minutes.
  4. Add sugar. Mix for 5 seconds, speed 3.
  5. With blades running add eggs, one by one until incorporated (approx. 10-20 seconds).
  6. Add plain and SR flours, mix for 10 seconds, speed 4.
  7. Add chocolate pieces, mix for 8 seconds, speed 3.
  8. Spread into prepared tin and bake for 40 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Allow to completely cool in the pan. Cut into squares to serve.
