Lovely flavour but yep watch your oven closely! Even at 170c and 30min, mine were still burnt. I'd recommend no higher than 160c to start

Delicious recipe although a little sweet for my liking so next time (yes there will be a next time!!) I will do less sugar. I made these gluten free (Aldi flour) and they worked out just fine. I turned my oven down to 150 as I know my oven well enough but I had to turn it down further into the cook and left them in longer as they did start to burn around the edges. Thanks for sharing

We love these in our house. I too reduced the amount of sugar to 180g as is a bit sweet for us. I also omitted the walnuts and used a milky bar and old gold.

I am soooo pleased to find my all time favourite nonThermomix recipe for chocolate brownies converted into a thermo friendly recipe. it was a pleasure to be able to make this delicious slice using my new thermomix!! works fine with or without the nuts (depending on who you are serving) and yes, I too, find it necessary to cook for an extra 5-10 minutes.

Gorgeous recipe, was a hit at the afternoon tea I took it to.
My kids aren't big lovers of nuts so I just left them out, was really fudgey on the inside &a little crispy on the outside just like a good brownie should be.
I also had to leave it in my oven a little longer but only an extra 5mins.
This will definitely be made again!

Huge hit with the family and also took a bit longer to cook in my old hot box. I would chop up the walnuts first and set them aside to save the elbow grease

These where divine. I made them for afternoon tea and served them with whipped cream and strawberries. So yummy! I only used milk chocolate, as I'm not really a fan of dark chocolate, and 150gms of raw sugar. I also used milk choc chips as that was all I had. Another one that had to extend the cooking time by about 10 minutes or so. Will be keeping this recipe handy, quick, easy, and delicious, everything a busy mum needs!
Very rich and naughty! Yum
Very rich and naughty! Yum yum. Thanks for a wicked recipe! I left my chocolate in bigger chunks and cooked it until my skewer was mostly clean. This way it was rich and just a little gooey. Awesome served hot with a bit of cream or vanilla icecream. My frIends loved them
