Sweet Vanilla and Orange Trail Mix

300 g Nuts, use raw - pick your fave
50 g seeds, use raw - pick your fave
30 g sultanas
50 g Cranberries
1 tbsp cocoa powder, Or raw cacao
2 orange zest, use peel of 2 whole oranges
1/2 tbsp sugar
1 vanilla bean, cut into thirds
i pinches salt

  For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

  If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

Trail Mix

Place cocoa, sugar, salt, orange zest and vanilla bean in TM Bowl and mill 40 seconds speed 9 (or until mixture comes together)

Add all the rest of the ingredients to the bowl and mix reverese 10 seconds speed 5

store in an airtight container and shake before consuming - yum!
