- 1 stalk Oregano, Fresh
- 2 onions, Halved
- 1 carrot, Chunky Slices
- 4 cloves galic
- 80 grams olive oil
- 800 grams tomato, Fresh, Thick Slices
- 200 grams water
- 20 grams vegetable stock
- 20 grams Rice malt syrup
- 5 grams rock salt
- pinch Peppercorns
- 50 grams tomato paste
- 150 grams Mushroom, Sliced

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Place Herbs, Onions, Carrot and Garlic in bowl then mince 15 seconds Speed 5- scape down sides and hen go again 15 seconds Speed 5 scrap down sides.
Add Oil 5 Minutes 100C Speed 2.
Add ALL remaining ingredients and cook with TM Basket instead of MC for 30 Minutes Varoma Speed 1.
Once cooked you want to blend it 1 Minute Speed 5 increasing to Speed 10.
Now add to a jar and use as needed, add it to mince or just as is.
We use it on our Eggplant Parmigiana!!!

Add a commenttry adding some of the tomato
try adding some of the tomato portion as cherry tomatoes which are sweeter then you shouldnt need the rice malt syrup! however i prefer a strong tomato flavour so use vine rippened tomatoes and never add sugar/ sugar substitutes
