For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Add full cream milk, eggs, caster sugar, self raising flour and vanilla essence to the mixing bowl.
- Mix 10 seconds, speed 5.
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
- Mix 10 seconds, speed 5.
- Heat frypan over medium heat and grease with butter. Using 1/4 cup of the mixture per pancake, cook until bubbles appear on the surface. Turn and cook until cooked through.
- Place cooked pancakes into Thermoserver to keep warm and repeat with remaining mixutre, making sure you grease the frypan with butter each time.
- Serve with extra butter and maple syrup.
