      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place yeast and water into the bowl and heat for 2 minutes, 37 degrees, speed 1 (avoid the blades when adding the yeast).

Add the rest of the ingredients in the following order: oil, flour, then salt.

Close the lid, add measuring cup, and knead for 4 minutes.

Place in a greased or lined loaf pan and let the dough sit till it rises to the rim of the pan. You can cover it with a towel to keep it warm.

Place pan into a cold oven, turn the oven on to 200 degrees celcius and bake for 30 minutes.

Winner! My first loaf of bread ever. Very easy. I actually forgot to do the rising bit and it still turned out fine. Thanks for posting!

Super easy and delicious. I made mine in the TM31 and it worked fine. I left it to cool completely in the baking tin and it did sweat so I am not sure I would do that next time but I will definitely make it again.

  • So healthy and simple to do.

So healthy and simple to do. I made mine in an ordinary loaf tin and it rose to a nice height. Really enjoyed my toast for breakfast this morning. So filling too! A regular recipe for me! Love
