      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Follow the instructions for Buttermilk Bread in the EDC.  After first prove, knock the dough down and roll or push with fingers into a rectangle, about 1/2 inch thick.

    Spread the base with cinnamon and sugar. (Don't hold back on quantities! Will appear to be a lot.)

    Roll each side toward each other, ending up with a rectangular scroll.  Place into a greased bread loaf pan, seam side down.  Allow to prove a further 30 mins.  Brush with butter and a dusting of more cinnamon just before baking.

    bake 45 mins at 200 degrees.

Tip

For an additional touch, add chopped nuts to the cinnamon mixture.
