Recipe's preparation

  1. Place yeast, sugar and warm water in TM bowl

  2. Mix for 20 secs – speed 4. Let stand for 10 mins

  3. Add salt, flour, oil, and mix 5 secs – speed 7 to combine

  4. Set dial to closed position, 1 minute 30 secs, Dough mode

Tip

Before step 7, lightly cover hands in olive oil, this will stop the dough from sticking to your hands.

I usually complete step 8 in the oven while it's pre-heating

  • Turned out fantastic!  I made

    Submitted by Anna_Coppabella on 21. December 2014 - 20:30.

Turned out fantastic!  I made it a nice high ball shape when I let it rise the second time and it was the perfect cobb loaf shape.  I just added a pinch of salt as there was no salt amount?

  • Makes for a beautiful cob

Submitted by Kate McIntyre on 4. August 2014 - 13:05.

Makes for a beautiful cob loaf.  I used an oiled round cake tin to keep it rising up instead of flattening out and made it perfectly round.

Just wondering about the reference to salt in the preparation, but amount not detailed in the ingredients.
