Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl! -

Recipe's preparation
- Add cream and milk to bowl first - then flour and salt
- Blend 4 seconds - speed 6
- Knead 2 minutes using dough mode
- Pour out onto lightly flowered surface
Shape loosely into ball and flatted to 1 inch thick (2.5cm) - Cut rounds using scone cutter
(I use a small rimmed straight sided glass dipped in flour prior to each cut) - Place on lightly floured or lined tray
- Bake 10-12 minutes - until golden brown
- I like to cool inside a tea towel
- Serve to your liking (jam & cream, butter, cheese & tomato)
