Fruit Balls

  • 200 grams Dried pitted dates
  • 100 grams dried apricots
  • 5 grams sesame seeds
  • 40 grams dessicated coconut

Recipe's preparation

    Fruit Balls
  1. Put 200g dried pitted dates and 100g dried apricots into the bowl and chop for 15 seconds on Speed 9.

    Add 5 grams of seseme seeds and 40 grams of dessicated coconut and combine for 5 seconds on Speed 4.

    Tip the mixture into a mixing bowl, and knead individual portions into ball shapes.

    Roll the individual balls into either your choice of dessicated coconut or sesame seeds,  and chill in the freezer for half an hour. 

    The mixture stays together very well.

    This receipe is gluten and nut free, and perfect for afternoon snacks, school lunch boxes, when you need to make something quick and easy for 'bring a plate of food to share' situations.

    Mixture held together really well. I double the ingredients and still only made 21. Didn’t bother rolling in anything.

    A great simple recipe!  The mixture sticks together nicely without being too sticky, and the flavour is great.  My 2yo doesnt even wait for me to put them in the fridge to chill, and would eat them all if he was allowed. I get approx 20 balls from the mixture.
