      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add all ingredients except for coconut oil and condensed cononut milk
  2. Blend 45 seconds / speed 8
  3. scrape down sides of bowl
  4. add coconut oil and condensed coconut milk
  5. Blend 45 seconds/ speed 6
  6. Mixture should be pressable into snack bar moulds. If too wet, add extra oats and mix again until appropriate consistency
  7. Press into snack bar moulds
  8. Refridgerate for minimum 4 hours
  9. Cut bars in half and sprinkle with some more shredded coconut
