Ingredients

Ice-cream

  • 600 grams thickened cream
  • 300 grams sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon Peppermint Essence
  • 4 drops Green Food Colouring

  • 100 grams milk chocolate, or Chocolate chips

Recipe's preparation

    Choc-chips
  1. If using chocolate you can either chop roughly on a cutting board or cut into cubes and cut in TM bowl for 10 Sec / Speed 7 then set aside and rinse TM bowl
  2. Ice-cream
  3. Attach Butterfly to blades.
  4. Pour cream, peppermint essence and food colouring into TM bowl and mix for 30 Sec /Speed 2 while pouring in condensed milk through the hole in the lid.
  5. Mix for 1 Min / speed 3.5
  6. Add Choc-chip pieces and mix for 45 sec / Speed 3.5 or until mixture looks thick and smooth
  7. Pour into airtight container and place in freezer overnight, enjoy

Tip

Cut chips to any size you like, depending on personal preference

    Great recipe but had to make a second batch as first turned into butter. I just added chocolate in the last 20 seconds and skipped last step.

    We love this recipe. I add more chocolate chips once in the tub to freeze. Left overs that don't fit in tub i add into silicone moulds.

    use 1.5-2x Cadbury Flakes crumbled it with your hands at step 5.

    This is so good!!! I doubled the peppermint so there was a really good punch of flavour and put 1 teaspoon of glisterine in to make sure it didn’t freeze icy!!!!!!!!
