Hi everybody, Can you help me on the thickened cream part? Is that double cream or clotted cream possibly in the Irl/UK? I don't want to ruin it and 600ml of the wrong cream is going to fudge it up. Thanks in advance

    Submitted by lissia on 15. May 2016 - 21:12.

this tasted so good, the choc chips did sink to the bottom. also when making it and i had it on speed 3 i think it was the whole machine moved and the lid came off- so after showing my consultant she suggested chaing it to the lower speed which i think was speed 2 and it worked great the machine didnt move at all. i left mine in the fridge over night but i think i will put it in the freezer next time as it was more like a creamy moose or melted icecream not one that could be shaped in a cone etc. but loved the taste- thank you for sharing tmrc_emoticons.)

    Submitted by Chan on 15. February 2016 - 16:21.

I made this today.  Im not a fan of peppermint but the rest of my family is. I made exactly as the recipe suggested and I must say it is yummy! It isnt as green as the picture so if you want the colour add more food colouring.  I put it straight in the freezer, it hasnt quite set yet but i just had a sneaky taste and its so creamy and the peppermint is not over the top.  Will definately make this again.  You may have converted me to like peppermint tmrc_emoticons.)

Had to make twice as the cream started to seperate the first time (this may be why other comments are saying they didn't like the texture). Second time I only did step 5 for 3 seconds just to mix the chocolate in and its perfect!

    Submitted by Micanjo1971 on 8. October 2015 - 09:31.

How easy is this??! Think it will be a winner - had few tastes straight from bowl and it is yummy! I also omitted the last 45 seconds and I just used plain dark chocolate pieces which I added in the last 10 seconds.

Got confused - is it supposed to go into fridge or freezer? I put it in the freezer so will see how it goes.

Submitted by Shady Lady on 4. October 2015 - 21:44.

Fantastic recipe but 30 sec speed 7 will turn the chocolate into a paste. Did with milk chocolate anyway. 5 seconds speed 7 is enough to finely chop the chocolate pieces. Really yummy though, thanks for posting.

    Dangerously delicious!

Made two batches this arvo. Added 1/2 tsp of peppermint essence and used TM made condensed milk. Added the chopped chocolate at step 4 and skipped step 5 (the last 45 seconds) pretty sure this would have turned ice cream into choc mint butter!
