This is creamy and delicious. Thickens on standing so don't panic if it appears too runny initially. Superb taste.

I used 30g wheaten cornflour so as to thicken more. Thank you for the recipe.

Loved it and my kids loved it. Will try with honey instead of sugar next time and little bit more cornflour as I like mine a bit thicker but well done. I've saved it for future reference.

  • Loved it!  Loved it!  Loved

    Submitted by vikkimount on 2. September 2015 - 14:38.

Loved it!  Loved it!  Loved it!  This was AWESOME!  Finally I have a way to curb my chocolate cravings just by having these ingredients as a staple in my pantry.  No other dessert could be this good.   Might try it with a little less sugar or try a sugar substitute to cut some calories.

The only problem was stopping myself from eating it all in one sitting!  It was still great the next day after being refrigerated making it just like a chocolate Yogo.  Thanks for sharing.  tmrc_emoticons.)

    Submitted by jarynis on 5. February 2015 - 18:18.

Thank you for this great recipe.  Simple and delicious and not too much sugar or chocolate compared to some other recipes.  My son loves this and I freeze batches in Sinchies reusable food pouches (buy them online).  In summer I take it out of the freezer in the morning and it's defrosted by morning tea time.

  • I actually followed the BCB

    Submitted by LifeIsShort on 14. November 2014 - 11:27.

I actually followed the BCB and used 500ml of milk but towards the end needed more. Once cooled was like chocolate pudding. Kids loved it. Used 85% dark lindt chocolate with Select brand cocoa powder. Yummo. After tipping the custard into cups I added 200ml milk and a square of chocolate and made Hot Chocolate. It was the best I have every had, thick, creamy and rich.

    Submitted by rcg72 on 28. September 2014 - 19:37.

    This was great!

Made it last night and had my doubts as to how runny it would be as it seemed like a lot of milk (thanks for the warning about being wet until the last minute!).  It was Just right - perfect hot on chocolate lamingtons last night and even better as a cold pudding for tonight's dessert. Halved the sugar and the kids never noticed  tmrc_emoticons.;-)

Thanks for a great recipe, will become a family staple I think.
