  • Fantastic recipe, great

    Submitted by MrsQ on 23. June 2016 - 19:55.

Fantastic recipe, great consistency. I did a crumb coating when it was a little runnier, then let it cool to a thicker consistency for the final coating for under fondant. Was a little bit tricky to ice when it was thicker, so I heated my palate knife up in hot water which helped to smooth out the ganache to a glossy finish. Thanks

I bake ALOT of cakes and this ganache is great on its own or under the fondant. Quick & Easy to make and sets quickly too but still easy to work with. I make mine with 1/2 dark chocolate and 1/2 milk chocolate to get that perfect balance of sweet and rich.  Cooking 7
