Nut Free Lunchbox Bliss Balls

  • 135 grams sunflower seeds
  • 1 level tablespoon Chia Seeds.
  • 75 grams dates, pitted
  • 75 grams naturally dried figs halved
  • 75 grams natural sultanas
  • 2 heaped tablespoon Shredded Coconut (or dessic), plus extra for rolling
  • 1 heaped tablespoon Cacao (Raw)
  • 1 level tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 level tablespoon Raw Honey
  • 1 level teaspoon vanilla extract

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place sunflower seeds in thermomix bowl, and chop for 3 seconds on speed 8.

     

    Add all other ingredients and chop/blend for 60 seconds on speed 9.

     

    Roll into balls, and roll balls in extra coconut. 

     

    Makes up to 30 balls depending on desired size.

    I love them and the thought that they are so healthy. Dont think my kids will eat them tho, as I had hoped tmrc_emoticons.( They are so fussy.... tmrc_emoticons.(
