Recipe's preparation

    Steps
  1. Line a small/medium slice tin with baking paper. Add almonds and rolled oats to the TM bowl, speed 6, 3 secs form coarse crumbs. Add Cranberries, dates and Cacoa powder, speed 5, 10 secs at the 10secs start pouring the water into the top slowly for another 10 secs. The crumbs should have started to come together, pour the mix into the prepared tin and press down firmly. Refridgerate for 2 hours then cut into squares.

  • I find that if you use dry

    I find that if you use dry dates you need more water (6 tablespoons) but even with medjool dates you need more water anyway. This is a great recipe. I also add Pepitas (1/4 cup). Add them to the bowl in the first step. Made this heaps of times any never feel guilty when I snack on a slice. If you damped you hands when rolling or flattening I find it works better. Thanks for posting.

    I really liked these - not too sweet but satisfies the chocolate craving. I needed a little more water than the recipe suggested and rolled my mixture into balls. They weren't pretty but they tasted great.
