Fruit and Nut Chocolate Slab

  • 400 grams Trail mix, Bought or make your own with your favourite selection of dried fruit, seeds and nuts
  • 500 grams dark chocolate
  • 50 coconut oil
  • 1 level teaspoon Vanilla bean paste or extract

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place chocolate, coconut oil and vanilla bean paste and mix for 5 minutes/80/speed 3 until melted

    Add trail mix and stir 30 seconds/Spd 4 Reverse until all combined 

    Pour into lined container (approx 20cm x 15cm depending on thickness preferred)

    Allow to set in fridge, cut into small slices when set
