Recipe's preparation

  1. Place all ingredients except coconut into bowl Closed lid"Closed lid" and blend for 60 seconds on speed 9. Roll into balls then in coconut (*see tip) and refrigerate until firm.

Tip

I like to pop the coconut in a zip-lock bag and place the balls in (maybe 6-8 at a time, or as many as you can fit with room to move), zip up, shake around and hey-presto- done! No need to worry about filling a bowl/plate with coconut and rolling one at a time!

Just made up a batch of these. Did anyone's mixture get quite warm when it was blended?

OMGosh thank you thank you thank you! I usually HATE the taste of all things healthy but lurve my chocolate so decided reluctantly to give these a go. I followed the recipe except for a handful of dark choc chips because, you know, chocolate LOL Yummy yum yum. I will try omitting the choc chips next time and also replace the cocoa for cacao for a batch for comparison and an extra healthy version.

Delicious. Used chia seeds for sunflower seeds & doubled the almonds as I didn’t have cashews. Thankyou.

    So healthy and so good.
Had to improvise as I didn't have saltanas so I used currents instead. I also added 30g dried cranberries. So yummy.

These are perfect! Definitely will keep in regular rotation for quick, healthy snacks.

I make these regularly, always enjoyed by our littlest family member who doesn't usually like healthy food, i put in whatever nuts/seeds I have. Use craisins instead of sultanas sometimes, and use cacao instead of cocoa.
