      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Peel rind from lemon and place in mixing bowl with Marie biscuits

     

  2. Mix on speed6 / 4 seconds

  3. Add remaining ingredients (lemon juice can be added into the lid with MC in place to catch any pips)

  4. MixCounter-clockwise operation speed3 / 20 sec to combine

  5. Shape into balls and roll in coconut

  6. Store in an airtight container in the fridge

Tip

You can use 2 small lemons instead of 1 large - add more zest if you want a stronger flavour

Putting some coconut on your hands can help with rolling the sticky mixture
