Tip

This recipe originally came from someone sharing on facebook. The original I have long forgotton but this is pretty close.

I use different nuts depending on what I have on hand - this on has Almonds in it.

Mix it up and add your own flavors.

Quick, easy and delicious. We are a nut free home so used dried apricots and raisins instead. Yum!

  • My whole family absolutely

My whole family absolutely love this! I don't bother with lining a tin - I place the mix in a square silicon cake tin and it is easy to remove. It doesn't last long around here though! Yum.

    Submitted by shall40 on 19. October 2014 - 11:34.

Very nice. We cut it into small slices as we found it lovely but a little richer than we usually have. I used 260g nut butter from the Quirky Cooking site http://quirkycooking.blogspot.com.au/search?q=Nut+butter.  I used dark cooking chocolate for the chocolate bits. I will definitely make again. Thanks!
