Base

  • 120 grams margarine
  • 160 grams Sweet Condensed Coconut Milk
  • 250 grams Weetbix
  • 100 grams desicated coconut
  • 1 teaspoon lemon rind

Icing

  • 50 grams margarine
  • 100 grams Icing sugar.
  • 20 grams Lemon Juice.
  • Shredded coconut, to sprinkle over the top

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

    Base
  1. Melt margarine and milk in the bowl 2 min/65degrees/sp2. Add the weetbix and crush 20sec/sp7. Make sure all the weetbix are crushed if not another 10 seconds should do it. Add the coconut and lemon rind. Mix at 10 sec/sp4. Press firmly into a 20 x20 cm lined cake pan. Refridgerate for about an hour. 

     

  2. ICING:

    Put the margerine, icing sugar and lemon juice into the bowl. Mix together 10sec/sp4. Spread over slice then sprikle shredded coconut.
